Disassembled and Inspected
Each unit is disassembled and thoroughly cleaned using proprietary processes and dedicated specialized equipment. All component parts are inspected to exacting standards, and renewed as appropriate to ensure that problematic areas that typically cause failure are renewed to the highest quality standards.
All Bearings and Seals Replaced
Rotating, journal, and thrust bearings and seals are replaced, and all mating surfaces/passages are renewed to drastically extend unit life and minimize servicing.
Installation and Maintenance Best Practices
Replace oil, oil filter, and air filter when installing a new turbocharger using only manufacturer recommended oil and filter types.
Prime the Turbocharger with the supplied syringe tool before engine start up to ensure proper lubrication.
Clean or replace oil inlet and return lines of any carbon deposits, sludge or debris that could restrict oil flow.
Never use Teflon tape or sealant on gaskets or fittings in the oil system to avoid potential blockage in oil supply.
Clean and inspect the entire air intake and exhaust systems, including intercooler or charge air cooler for residual fuel and debris.
Allow engine to warm up at least 20 seconds after startup and up to 2 minutes when freezing to prevent oil starvation.
Avoid hot shut downs by allowing the engine to idle for at least 1 minute before turning off to properly cool turbocharger.
