- GAP SPARK PLUGS TO YOUR VEHICLE’S SPECIFICATIONS: Every engine has different specified sizes for spark plug gaps – generally speaking, more powerful engines require small gaps, less powerful engines require large gaps; this tool lets you measure spark plug gaps and adjust spark plugs to the proper gap size
- SPARK PLUG REPAIR AND INSTALL TOOL: Spark plugs are sold in common gap sizes, so usually they do not need to be gapped, but for custom engines and for repairing older plugs, resizing your spark plug gap is often required
